- Determination made that data accurately reflect retention and completion status and that improvement has been made in many programs
- Issues identified that may be negatively impacting completion/retention in some programs (e.g., Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician)
- Carl Perkins grant received for FY 2006 to place teaching assistants in the Medical Assisting Program; a funding source is being sought to produce a short orientation video to give potential Pharmacy Technician students a better understanding of what the program entails.
- Progress: As of June 30, 2006
- Student Services staff worked with program faculty during FY 2006 to gain a better understanding of their classroom environment and their instructional style. The goal was to provide the student a better understanding of this type of instruction, the classroom they would be entering and the mechanics of the curriculum.
